VALIDATION BOUNDARY
An FSR is not automatically a calibrated precision load cell or a safety-rated occupant-classification system. Safety, accuracy and compliance claims require the complete system to be designed and validated for that purpose.

Zone count, geometry and routing can be reviewed against the contact area, load path and available installation space.
A component alone cannot establish a safety function. The complete mechanical, electronic, software and validation system must meet the applicable requirements.
