A replacement project may begin when an original keypad is worn, unavailable or no longer supported. The visible overlay, dimensions, key positions, circuit, tail, connector and mounting method must be reconstructed into controlled project information.
The objective is a custom component for an authorised maintenance or equipment-support need—not an unverified claim that a part is original, endorsed by the equipment brand or interchangeable before testing.
Project boundary
The customer must be authorised to share and use the sample, drawing, brand and equipment information. Compatibility is confirmed only after prototype fit and functional validation in the target equipment.

Can a project start from photographs only?
Clear photographs can support an initial review, but a sample, drawing, dimensions and electrical information may still be needed before an accurate prototype can be produced.
Is the result guaranteed to fit every equipment revision?
No. Equipment and keypad revisions can differ. The prototype must be checked in the exact target equipment before repeat production.
Can third-party part numbers be used?
They may be used only as an identification reference when the customer is authorised to do so; they do not imply affiliation, endorsement or original-part status.
